SMRivera198 Posted August 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Unfortunately hubby and I are both smokers, respectful smokers if that helps :p Anywho, I was wondering if any of the dining rooms or specialty restaurants on the Crown have smoking sections. From what I've read, it sounds like you can only smoke in your cabin, on one side of the deck and in the casino on certain nights? Am I mistaken? TIA! ~Sara

BigGuy25 Posted August 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Smoking is almost always allowed in the casino. It would be more accurate to say there are just certain times when it's not allowed ... I think on formal nights?? Also, near the casino on the Crown, is the cigar lounge where you can smoke and also have bar service.
flamomo Posted August 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Add your balcony, if you booked one, as a place where you are permitted to smoke on Princess.
Rare Hlitner Posted August 4, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 4, 2008 We have lately noticed a trend (on all the cruise lines) to further restrict smoking on ships. As an example, when on the Noordam last year they were experiementing with a no-smoking policy in the casino. On the new Azamara line (absolutely wonderful) smoking is restricted to only two small areas on the ship (one indoors and one outdoors) and prohobited in cabins and on balconies. We cannot recall any ship (and we have been on 11 cruise lines) that allows smoking in the dining areas, although on some, you can get buffet lunch food and take it to an area near the pool where you could smoke. kblee Posted August 4, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 4, 2008 I will be traveling on the CB next year and, being a non-smoker, I hadn't given the topic much thought. Can anyone advise whether the Terrace Pool or Lotus Spa Pool areas allow smoking? The DW and I will be looking for an area free of kids and smoke. Thx...
