Casinos in Ocho Rios?

My husband & I will be visiting Ocho Rios in December '08 from a Mariner of the Sea cruise. Because my husband enjoys gambling, I thought we would visit one of the Ocho Rios' casinos, but as I read about how uncomfortable visitors feel there I'm wondering if we really want to do that. Has anyone visited an OR casino? Are they typical casinos, or are they more what you'd call a "hole in the wall"?

I did not think Jamaica had casino's

Been to Jam' many times....casinos must be well hidden....I've never been in one? There was cock fighting at one time, but I think that's now 'underground'

WOW - been there 2 times and never saw them - I wonder if they are away from the tourist areas

And would you be safe in one of them, Americans are easy targets away from controlled areas and security, as the saying goes, Gamble at your own risk!!;)
