Noordam anyone?

How are the superior suites on deck 6 on the Noordam? Do the life boats block the view down to the sea at all? Anyone have pics of the verandahs?

 

We are used to RCL having been on the Radiance class 4 times and X once - Millie. This will be our first on HAL.

 

Just got an email from HAL that our 3/09 itinerary was changed, Tortola replaced with St. Thomas. A little disappointing as have never been to Tortala. S T is great, but have been there a number of times. Anyone know why the change was made?

 

Looking forward to going back to Bardados and St. Lucia. Martinique will be new for us as well as the private island in the Bahamas.

Tortola is no big loss. We were there on HAL in 2005, and it sucked. We, too, have been to St. Thomas several times, and there is always something new to do.

Nothing at all wrong with Tortola. In fact it is a beautiful island with lovely people. Road Town might be less than desireable for some, but the island of Tortola deserves exploration. Rent a car or jeep and head in any direction - you will love it!

Nothing's wrong with Tortola, IMO. You can take some lovely sails around the islands, go swimming with dolphins, enjoy a much quieter atmosphere than St. Thomas.

I'd much rather go there.
