family excursions in Grand Cayman??

Just booked on FOS for June 09! Looking for relaxing, fun family excursion for Grand Cayman. Traveling with folks from age 10 to age 72! Any great private beach trips?

If you want the beach you don't need an excursion. Just grab a taxi or the bus to 7 mile beach and enjoy. If you want food & drink and showers etc head to the Reef Grill - http://www.reefgrill.com. If you want good snorkeling head to Cemetery Beach - they have no facilities there. I recommend that everyone that has not done it should do a Stingray City excursion while they are in GC - it is a unique memorable experience suitable for all ages! We did it last month and we had members in our group from 3 up to 87. The oldest and the youngest did not get in the water with the stingrays but they still enjoyed the boat ride and watching the stingrays. The guides will bring a stingray up close to the boat for those who do not want to get in.

richdan, Yes - the buses run regularly up and down 7 mile beach.

if you book the sting ray trip use Native way, they are the best, they will also take you to seven mile beach after. (beautiful!!)

I'd strongly recommend getting a private boat and captain. We went with John Michael. My family of six got a full day with him. He'll take you to a beach if you like. You can read my review here:
