Back-to-back ticketing

I am having some trouble with tickets at the moment. Not sure if I am being fobbed off by P and O or what. Can anyone with experience of doing back-to-back cruises give me some advice.

For some time I have been concerned that the tickets for my second

cruise may not arrive before I have departed on my first cruise. I have

contacted P and O several times only to be assured that my tickets

would arrive in time but today, when my TA checked again, the story

changed to "You do not need tickets for the second cruise because

you are already on the ship".

Is this right or am I being a bit paranoid about the whole ticketing issue?

It's just that it's getting a bit close for a departure date of 17th Aug especially as I am actually leaving home the day before.

From memory when we did a back to back they just gave you your new cruise card about two days before the first cruise ended.

They are aware that you are onboard and you only need your booking reference.

You must have filled in your cruise personaliser so just take a copy from your computer and take that with you.

I am sure you will be fine and have a great TWO cruises.

Hi Big Pete,

1 Yes you are being paranoid.

2 You do not need tickets to board only your reference number with passports etc.

3 When on board your next cruise 'cruise card' is given to you a day or two before the start of the second cruise.

4 If you have the same cabin then Southampton becomes another port where you can get off, only there are no trips. There is a shuttle bus you share with the staff.

5 I you have to change cabin this taken care of by the staff, even down to swapping the full draws to your new 'home'.

6. You can of course stay on board where most of the facilities will be open including the main restaurant for lunch.

:):)Happy Cruising:):)
