Does anyone know best time to check for changes to SW fares.

 

I'm looking at a fare checked last week - and today - BUR/MDW - its $165 more than on August 2.

 

Hate it that I didn't grab it earlier but in viewing these boards I think there's a time to check for revisions.

 

He who hesitates is lost -- it seems to be for me at the moment.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

Just don't wait too much longer. Just because the price already went up doesn't mean it won't go up again.

There is none. Think about it....if there was a "best time", everyone would wait for that and not book at other points in time.

I have a SWA flight next month. I booked it in June...checked it yesterday...and the fare was lower. I rebooked thru their system, and got the credit. I usually book at the earliest possible time...and keep an eye on the fares.

Do you belong to their DING program? IF not- go to their site and sign up- you put the city you live in and it will DING you whenever cities you are interested in go on sale. Great thing to have- select flights only but sometimes works great!

I will book today and watch it. Don't fly SW much but a credit in the bank never hurts.

 

And I will sign up for DING.
