cancellation policy and deposits?

Can anyone tell me what the depost is to book a cruise and what the cancellation policy is? Thanks!

3 day cruise - deposit $100 per guest; balance due 60 days prior to departure.

4 day cruise - deposit $150 per guest; balance due 60 days prior to departure

5 day cruise - deposit $200 per guest; balance due 60 days prior to departure

6 and 7 day cruise - deposit $250 per guest; balance due 75 days prior to departure

8 day cruise - deposit $300 per guest; balance due 75 days prior to departure

10+ day cruise - deposit $400 per guest; balance due 75 days prior to departure

I have a six day cruie booked and I called to find out about final payment and she quoted me a day 60 days out. Weird huh?

Since its rare for Elation to do a 6 day cruise that might have been the reason. She heard Elation and automatically thought of the 4,5 day policies.

At least that would be my guess.

Both vary depending upon the ship, when you booked it, when payment is due.

 

Go to www.carnival.com. At the bottom, click and read the terms and conditions and ticket contract. That will give you the several cancellation policy.

 

As for the deposit, depends......you'll have to make a fake booking to see. Usually is 250.00 per person but could be higher or lower depending upon how many days your cruise is.
