Dry Box

Read about a dry box on a thread but now can't find it. Anyone remember what it was called or where to get it?

Something I can put cash, sign and sail card and keep dry while on excursions!

I bought one onboard my first cruise in the gift shop and I also have a small clear dry bag that I purchased in a camping store.

If you want something big enough to put your wallet in or a small camera (not to wear around your neck or in a pocket), they have them in WalMart's camping section - maybe 5x7", 2 or 3" deep. Those would work for keeping in a pack.

I have a pelican case--they come in all sizes. You can get them online or in stores like REI (often sold with paddling gear--waterproof cases & drybags)

Check out a snorkel or dive shop for a waterproof box about the size of a package of american cigarettes. It will hold a credit card some money and keys. It has an O-ring seal that keeps it watertight. Plus it floats so makes it easy to pick out your spouse/friend when snorkeling.

I just received the one from CC. I had a 20% discount for my birthday so I decided to use it although it's not expensive. It's nothing fancy but I think it will do the job. It's just big enough for room card, credit card and money.
