Just Back ....ZuiderdamWhat a great cruise!! Loved the ship and had a wonderful time all around. Costa Maya was wonderful and Joel Mason ,the Elton John show was fabulous. Best cruise ever. Bravo HAL

We also enjoyed Joel Mason when we sailed in July 2004. I agree the Z is a very enjoyable ship. Hope to sail her again soon. Glad you found your cruise to be great. Welcome home.

It is nice to see some positive posts on the Zuiderdam. Boy when she first came out, all were heard were complaints. I sailed on her a few months later and noticed that the Vista Class ship was different than the "S" Class and the "R" Class but certainly nice in her own way. I couldn't figure out what all the complaining was about. I have not heard similiar complaints about the OOSTERDAM or the new WESTERDAM. Glad to hear people are getting positive about the ZUIDERDAM

The ship was very elegent.(sp) The staff from top to bottom was excellent. The food was great. They even had a drink special of the day at a low price, $3.75. The only thing which bothered me and not my 17 y/o daughter was the fellow passangers. Plenty of teenagers for her. Not many singles in my age group. I'm 46 male. The whole party seemed to slow down after the 10:30 show. I guess that most of the passangers were couples. But this is not a complaint. I had a great time. I would sail HAL again. Rick
