An auto-tip realization just made me really happy

I have been trying to figure out how in the world we spent 700 bucks on our cruise last week. I was hoping to only spend about 500-550. I just looked at our bill and realized that 140 bucks were auto-tips! Whew, that makes me feel better because that means we basically stuck to our budget. Apparently, my cruise made me lose a few brain cells to not figure that out for a week! :o

On recent cruises, we have chosen to pre-pay ours, so we don't even have to think about it on board (and have lower "sail and sign" bills!)

If you lowered the tips a dollar a day,you would have been right on budget.
