Eurodam Questions

I am new to Holland America, and have a few questions. I am sure that many of these have been answered before. Are there any good links to questions like mine? I am booked for the Eurodam Oct 15 cruise and can't wait. I booked Cat VH, 4004.

•Does any know if those balconies are private?

•Has anyone been in that Cat?

•I was thinking to upgrade and go up and in the center of the ship to Cat VE.

•Are those balconies private?

•Can you book Dinner at the Pinnacle Grill before the cruise?

•I was thinking about going there the first evening.

•What about the Tamarind? Think i should try that as well?

•Anyone know what the charges are and which ones serve lunch?

•Do they offer a Coke Card or a Coffee card for the 3 night cruises?

•What are the breakfast hours in the dinning room and the buffet?

•Does the Terrace Grill offer the same thing for dinner as in the main dinning rooms?

•With the as you wish dinning, is it hard to get a table for 2? Can you make reservations?

•How is the spa/gym? Do they have steam rooms? How's the showers?

I'll answer what I can

The balconies on the VE are private. They are directly above the lifeboats.

I believe you can book the Pinnacle online at the HAL site in the For Booked Guests section

The breakfast hours will vary depending on the day's schedule. Anywhere from 6:30-7:30 in the buffet, approx 1/2 hour later for dining room. They are posted in the daily schedule given out each evening.

The Terrace Grill is only open from 12-5 and serves hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers (beef and turkey) and fries.

Is there a "Chef's Dinner" on a 7 day cruise?

Absolutely! I'm a finicky eater, and loved it there. Service was the best I've had in years.

Lido breakfast typically ends at 10:30. Once in a while it ends at 10:00.

•Does the Terrace Grill offer the same thing for dinner as in the main dinning[sic] rooms?

No dinner at the Terrace Grille, but the Lido does serve dinner. Most, but not all, of the entrées served in the dining room will also be served there. Cold soups will not be served there.

Yes

The Tamarind is free for lunch, $15 for dinner. The Pinnacle Grill is $10 for lunch and $20 for dinner.

I don't know about the first part yet, but "yes" to the 2nd part.

No, they'll come as close as possible to the time you requested and knock on the door.

Sorry, on re-reading my post, the thing about breakfast was not clear. I meant that the starting times varied :o. Usually earlier openings on port days, later on sea days.

look at the deck plan. as long as there is no elevator or cabin that extends outward, they are private. many take advantage of them for an all over tan

tamarind was wonderful don't miss their lunch
