Do they still play "Anchors Aweigh" when the ships leave the home port?

When we took our last cruise, Home Line's Oceanic in the early eighties, the ship's band was on one of the upper decks and they played "Anchors Aweigh" as the ship started to move out of the home port.

 

It was a nice touch, and I'm wondering if they still do that these days.

Many cruise lines will play music but the songs vary by cruise line.

 

I have fond memories of The Home Lines. I sailed on the Homeric which was part of this line and had some friends and relatives sail on the Oceanic. We sailed on the Oceanic but after it moved to another cruise line.

Carnival usually has a band playing Caribbean themed music.

HAL just has the HAL Cats playing music at the sail away party -- nothing special.
