Canceling cruise and getting money back??

What are the chances that Carnival will cancel???

 

Cancel? Probably not, but certainly delayed but 3 to 4 days depending on the storm damage. I cannot for the life of me seeing them bringing a ship anywhere near Galveston this weekend since IKE is forecast to hit the coast as a CAT 4.

Carnival was able to get the Conquest out on schedule for their Sunday run when Gustav was scheduled to hit Monday. Unfortunately, we were suppose to leave MONDAY...which did indeed get delayed until Wednesday. (still have a GREAT time)

 

So if Ike stays out until Friday...it is possible Carnival will get the Ecstasy loaded and out on Thursday.
