Questions about the Paradise

We are considering going on a cruise on the Paradise in June 2009. I don't know anything about this ship. What can you tell me about it? Also, I am wondering what the good locations are for the cabins. I don't really want to be bothered by deck chairs, music or kitchen noises. Thanks! Robyn

Stay towards the center of the ship, and stay on Empress Deck, or any deck below it.

We are sailing Paradise in December (cat 12 suite :D ). IMHO, you want to book a specific cabin number, mid ship, on a deck with cabins above and below you. If you book a GTY, it's a crap shoot and you could end up under the Lido deck or a nightclub, etc.:eek:

Been on the Paradise 6 times. I always like the inside rooms on Verandah (except directly under gym). I've been midship Riviera (quiet) aft on Upper near stairs (could hear running up & down sometimes). Very nice ship/ cruise. You''l like it.

Middle is always better but if you look at the paradise deck plan you'll see what we mean.

 

Personally, On that ship, I prefer deck 8 rooms at the end of the hall near the club. Makes for easy access! LOL

P.S. Back of the ship you will generally always FEEL MORE MOVEMENT! LIke when your in the dining room. You'll generally always feel more movement back there because it's low and at the back of the ship!

Avoid U-110. We had a problem with that one, there is some kind of machinery in an area next to it that clanked and rattled all the time. Not really loud, but enough that you could hear it all night.
