paul929207 Posted September 19, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2008 I find the pillows to be quite firm. Talk to your cabin steward when you board.

NeurosurgeryNP Posted September 19, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2008 We were on the CB in April in an inside room and we had feather pillows - I think there were two in our room.

One can get a feather pillow by special order - talk to your steward when you get onboard.

Solara Posted September 19, 2008 #10 Share Posted September 19, 2008 Last two cruises we had 2 feather & 2 foam in our cabin (one of each on each side of the bed). DH prefers feather & I prefer foam so we were all set.
noobiecruiser Posted September 20, 2008 #11 Share Posted September 20, 2008 I have a bad neck too and always used feather pillows. UNTIL I bought a memory foam neck pillow. It has a big hump at the top and a smaller one at the bottom, with a hollow in the middle. You reverse it for back or side sleeping. I LOVE it, and now have much less neck pain. I got a small sized one and I pack it in my suitcase ... it compresses and then pops back out again on unpacking,.

cassie cruiser Posted September 21, 2008 #14 Share Posted September 21, 2008 I love my memory foam pillow! I haven't seen small size ones, though. I'm not sure if there will be room in my suitcase - hmm, pillow or extra shoes??? What a dilemma! ;)
cindep Posted September 21, 2008 #15 Share Posted September 21, 2008 I was diagnosed with a neck problem right before our Sea Princess cruise in July. I contacted my travel agent who contacted Princess. I had a therapeudic pillow there when I got to my regular balcony cabin. Don't know if it works the same for everyone, but they do have the pillows available (and they are VERY nice).
