Go to discoveryexcursions.com and get their phone # or write them by email. They are very helpful. They live in Alaska and know a lot about everything Alaska. They were a huge help. They sell tours and were the best priced out of all of them and helped us with everything else. They even gave us suggestions on cool free places, where to eat, what to check out. It was very cool to get the inside from a local. Call them they will be your best guide even if you don't buy anything through them.

For clairfication, this is a booking agent and not a tour operator. They sell tours only, for commissions. You can get more information direct from the vendors, if you choose to.

You will need to bring your binoculars with you so you can see things in the distant.

FYI, on our trip with Harv in July, the boat had several pair of binocs on board. Of course your own pair you're familiar with is better, and you will need it during the rest of the trip.
