fall color yet?

Heading for Montreal, Quebec, PEI, NS, NB etc Oct 5th - have the leaves started turning yet?

Oh yes!! I live in Quebec, halfway between Quebec city and Montreal. And today we were noticing that the colors are coming into their prime. Quebec city is usually a little ahead of us and Montreal a little behind. (Has to do with the temperature, frost etc...) But it is starting to be beautiful. I think that the next week will be the prime for the colors! Next week-end would be the time to climb a mountain and enjoy the colors:D

There are only a few trees starting to change in the Halifax area. It will be a few weeks yet before you will really start to notice the colors.

They're turning in QC City, but very reluctantly. We haven't had a true killing frost yet - that's what usually kicks them into gear.

Coming back from our cabin east of Halifax today I noticed the leaves starting to change colour, not at peak yet but pretty none-the-less. A couple more weeks and they should be perfect, that's of course being TS Kyle leaves any leaves on the trees!

Looks like tha Fall colours are at their peak this week around Halifax and Charlottetown.
