Looks pretty good to me in this context.

I bet certain of these styles would look good with 40s retro style clothing...

 

Don't like Eva Longoria's at all, especially since they're white. I don't like white shoes.

 

However, I LOVE Marcia Cross' shoes. I adore T-straps and these on a platform look fab! I'd wear those anyday!

The shoes on the first cover are cute, quite retro, unwearable by me, but cute. Those white 'booties?' Eva's is wearing on the second cover are just about as ugly as shoes can get, to me. They make her feet look like they belong to some kind of alien race.

I have a white shoe phobia too.

 

Also, shoes like Eva's wearing tend to cut the line of your leg and make your legs look shorter. Eva's not that tall (understatement); I wouldn't choose those if I were her.

Let me start by saying that I love shoes in general. When I got married nine years ago, I moved three laundry baskets full of shoes just for that current season into our house, much to my new DH's amazement (I didn't tell him about the other seasonal shoes packed away). But I've got to say, this season's "hot" shoes are not appealing to me at all. Is it just me or do you love these new shoes??

 

I love shooties! They are so cute! I especially love the first pair; I would definitely wear them. I don't know WHAT I would wear them with but....there is a reason to buy a new outfit to go with! I think all of theses would look great with a loose sweater tunic/dress and leggings.
