I am not familiar with the Noordam, but am considering a cruise. Can someone offer advice on what they think are the best locations/sub-categories for outside cabins?

We loved our outside on the lower promenade on our Alaskan cruise, but this ship does not seem to be on the same class ship and does not have those rooms.

Thanks.

What ship were you on for your Alaskan cruise?

That might help us if we knew what category you had booked.

I don't normally stay in outside cabins, so my experience here is limited.

I have, though, stayed in an outside cabin on Upper Promenade (deck 4) on the Noordam. That cabin had floor to ceiling windows, and lots of light (great for this usual cavedweller), but it's an obstructed view. The cabins on Main Deck (deck 1) are nice and low (good in rough seas) and have a nice view.

That's the most I can contribute! Hope it helps.
