FLL Embassy Suites prices slightly down for 11/28 thru 30

If you are staying at Embassy Suites in FLL the weekend after Thanksgiving, check your prices. The AARP rate went down nearly $25.00 a night.

Speaking of the Embassy Suites...

 

Can anyone give a little insight into this location and/or hotel? Positives/Negatives? Recommendations?

Great place to stay! Nice location, just 10 minutes from the airport(FLL), and right up the street from the port. There is a strip mall behind it, with a Publix supermarket in it, and a liquor store. Even a boating store that has waterproof supplies, snorkeling equipment, water shoes, anything you might need before the cruise.The pool area was beautiful, and the breakfast , cooked to order in the morning,was fantastic. Couldn't pick a better place, IMHO. Jax:)

they have completed this shopping center which is right behind the hotel. It is nice for pre-cruise and the new stores make it easy to pick up anything you may need or forgot. We but all our toiletries there instead of packing them. They have great places to eat and walk around. The hotel is nice.

Does the shuttle both take you to the pier and pick you up? We're looking for a parking option. Is the pier parking still $12? Is there a tax on it?

I believe the shuttle is for drop-off at the port only. We were also told that the shuttle will do pick ups only from the airport - no drop offs.

 

I loved this hotel. I also have stayed at the Renaissance which was nice but I prefer the Embassy Suites.
