Statendam cabin selection

Considering booking BTB on Statendam San Diego to San Diego via

the Canal 10/30/09. Are the wake rooms, "D418-D421" good

choices. The wake rooms seem to be popular on most ships,

but these are the only ones on this ship. If not, what do you

suggest? Have been on the Ryndam, so I am familiar with the

ship, in general.

It's fairly quiet back there, as there is no reason for many people to be there. It's handy-dandy to getting outdoors quickly for a breath of fresh air, or going to/from lifeboat drill.

The long walk to the forward areas of the ship isn't very long because it's not a long ship! :D

You realize you'll have to go outside to get the best view of the wake, I'm sure.

I was in an inside cabin in that area on the Maasdam and was quite happy there. Except for the roomie, (but that's another story for another day. )
