duluthga Posted October 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2008 Going to Dunns RF next week and am wondering if the original CROC shoes (with strap in back) will work ok climbing the falls. DW is taking 12 pairs of shoes, I get to take 2.:)

For a 7 night cruise? That requires a suitcase on its own!
2PinaColadas Posted October 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2008 My guess on the crocs is NO. They will fill up with water and IMO they do not grip that well. Water shoes are on clearance all over now. I got mine for $1.50 at Walgreen's of all places and got DHs at Target for $2.00. They are very flat and should take up very little room. 12 pairs of shoes for DW??!! LOL Have a great cruise!!
mamasue Posted October 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2008 I agree with 2pinacoladas.... crocs are a nono.... your feet slip around inside them when they are wet!! Go to Walmart fast... they have reduced their water shoes to $1 !!:)
mrsfuzzmo Posted October 16, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2008 I agree on NO to Crocs. Wouldn't even attempt it. You need shoes not only with good "gription" but that will stay on your feet. The water is totally rushing around your feet. We've found that sport sandals work best. There are plenty of little stones that will get into your shoes (aqua socks work well because they are tight) so if your shoes are kind of loose and don't have an escape for the rocks, you'll be stopping often to empty your shoes. IMHO neither of those count as shoes, so I think you should be able to take those and still take your two other pairs ;) .
