QE2 Room Service, please?

Besides the full meals, Room Service offers smaller, ala carte type things like a cheese/fruit platter (ask for what kind of cheese you want, though. We ordered this a few times, and every time it came with different cheeses, until we started requesting specific ones we like), and really good soups. And of course, there's always plenty of tea!

We only used room service once, for our lunch when we embarked after an excursion and missed it. The lunch itself was very good indeed, though the problem was where to eat it!

We were in Cariona, and only had a small round unstable coffee table, a sofa and the bed, so had to balance on our knees (should really stop using the dining table at home and start eating in front of the TV like normal people, to get skilled at that art!)

be interested to know what people DO order for Room Service.

I just stuck with my usual request, BLT,fries, tea for one (or two) and a glass of milk, it always arrived promptly by the night steward, the latest was 4.45am and l felt so guilty l washed up as well and gave serious thought about missing breakfast
