Lady of the Lakes Posted October 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2008 We are leaving on the 22nd of Nov. for the above mentioned ports. Would love some info on the weather. Our Port is Port Everglades. Thank you in advance
yst347 Posted October 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Panama is hot year-round. You can expect temps near or above 90. The sun is very strong, protect your skin and be careful. Costa Rica will be similar but tends to have afternoon showers in November. Cozumel will be in the mid-80's and can have afternoon showers also. They usually go as fast as they appear. We sailed this itinerary in 2005. (Belize instead of Cozumel though) We loved it! have a great cruise! :)
LHP Posted October 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Thanks...we are on this cruise as well. We are going to go the taxi route in Panama, so we should not be out in the sun much. (There is a taxi dispatch in Colon2000 Terminal).
pe4all Posted October 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2008 The coolest weather you should hit will be in Pt. Everglades! From then on, you will be in the 80-90 degree range. You'll love this itinerary - we did it on Liberty when she first came over to the U.S. I'd love to repeat it in the future!
dec2007w3boys Posted October 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Great question! I am glad you asked. We are on the cruise too! 29 Days :D :D We were on a cruise last year the week after Thanksgiving - Cozumel, Honuras, Belize and Cayman Is -- the weather was perfect. So, I am hoping for the same this time.

This is what we did in Panama. We had a great driver. I posted about it on the Panama board after we returned. magoo221 Posted October 25, 2008 #8 Share Posted October 25, 2008 We just booked for the 11/22/2008 Cruise on the Freedom as well. We are so excited, the ports look great. We usually do our own thing in port, get a taxi for a few hours. Does anyone have any ideas? We have never been on the Freedom before. We were on the sister ship Valor in April and it was amazing. It will be five of us. My wife who is prgnant along with our 3 Year old, Ella. Also my parents decided to join. The price drops for Thanksgiving made it an easy decision. We were on Valor just after it got the outdoor theater upgrade. Does anyone know if there are any differences between Valor and Freedom? We also did not have our daughter with us in April. What is the camp like? She did enjoy the splash zone on the imagination this summer. They should put that on all the ships. Look for us. Warren, Lori, Ella with the grandparents, Murray and Irene. Are there some good threads on the Freedom?
