Answer: When will edocs arrive?

I frequently see posts asking about when edocs will arive and I was wondering the same. I searched all the links I could find and the general concensus was 4-6 weeks before the cruise and that it had no relation to when you paid for the cruise.

 

Well, here's the answer for me, which may be helpful to you.

 

My Jewel cruise starts 1/9/09

Final payment was due 10/26/08 (I paid before that)

edocs became available today 10/31/08

 

So, for me it's more than 2 months before the cruise and about a week after final payment was due.:cool:

Ours were available about 70 days out. After final payment was due (suites are due earlier-75 days for NCLA) and after we paid (about 85 days out).

We paid our cruise off on Friday 10/24 and just got access to our edocs today for our Jan 9, 2009 cruise. So it seems that you get access to them about a week after final payment is made.

Did you all book directly through NCL? We are sailing December 14th, made final payment September 20th. There are still no edocs listed for us on the NCL page.

I booked through ncl too. When I sign in on the website there's a link in the middle column for edocs that works. If that doesn't work for you go to edocs.ncl.com/edocs and enter the information required. If you don't get to them, better give NCL a call.

We went thru a TA but the docs were still available on NCL's site.

Hi,

 

We made final payment in September for our upcoming cruise on Dec. 27, 2008.

We still can not get into our edocs.

TA said that you could get them as late as 3 weeks before.

 

Can't wait until we get them.

Looking forward to our cruise.

yes, usually you can download them quickly after final payment and pre-registration, but if you do not download them your TA will need to..

Pre-registration is very important. Make sure you log on and do that.
