Cape Liberty Hotels

Are there any hotels near the Port to stay where you can leave your car? I read that it costs 3o dollars a day to park the car at the pier do I have any other options? thought I might come in the night before if it is not too expensive.

Cape Liberty parking is $16/day.

Country Inns offers a park/cruise option. It would end up being a similar amount of money.

We will be staying at the Hampton Inn Newark-Airport on 1128-38 Spring Street. Does anyone know how far it is from that hotel to Cape Liberty?

Mapquest says it is 9.35 miles. Hampton Inn is in Elizabeth NJ. Here are the Mapquest directions.

it could take about 20-30 minutes though if there is traffic! fare for a car service/cab should be around 45 bucks...(if you are cabbing it)
