ModestMeans Posted November 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2004 We'll be visiting Costa Maya in Feb. on Holiday. Wondering if anyone has done the Jungle Beach Break to Uvero Beach through Carnival. If so, can you tell me what they charge and was it worth it? Beth Posted November 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2004 You can take a bus from the port $3pp to the fishing village Majahul(?) and booka tour there alot cheaper. We walked down and sat at the beach across from the Tarpus bar and had a drink and food and swam. They also have massages $20 for 30 min. Was so much fun and real reasonably priced for the food and drink So relaxing and pretty just to sit and talk.

Rare Coral Posted November 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2004 Uvero Beach break must be booked through the cruise line. If you take a tour through some place else, you are going to a different beach. We did the Uvero Beach break a few years ago from the Grand Princess and had a great time. Here are some pics of Uvero Beach: Uvero Beach Email me if you have questions - I am not often on the Carnival board.
