Getting Cash Aboard the Ryndam

We will be leaving on Nov 21st for the Sea of Cortez. Being this our first cruise on HAL, I was wondering if there is an ATM on board or if you can get cash on the ship via the casino, etc..

I don't recall seeing an ATM on board, but you can get money at the casino, I believe the surcharge is 3%. Hope you enjoy the Ryndam as much as we did.

HAL doesn't have any ATM machines on any ship.

You might be wise to take traveler's checks which can be cashed at the front office -- no fee.

There is no ATM onboard but at the Front Desk , Casino ( or Neptune) you may receive cash for a 3 % surcharge.

You should definitely bring travelers checks -you do not want to pay 3% to get cash on you on board account.

We simply used our debit card to get cash from the front office on our recent cruise on the Ryndam...it was about 7 bucks charge on $250.00. Nothing I would consider excesive compared to what a pain it is to deal with travelers checks. But that's just us!

We actually stopped in Mazatlan last year to get money at the ATM. It was Pesos however. We spent it all. You should be able to get money in Puerto Vallarta.
