Jewel of the Seas 12 night Cruise

Does anyone know how many formal nights there are on a 12 night cruise? We're going on the Panama Canal Cruise on November 17 and some of our ports include: Aruba, Grand Cayman, Costa Rica & Colombia.

Any recommendations for shore excursion? Good places to shop for bargains (jewellery?). Lastly, has anyone tried the Murder Mystery Night at Portofino's?

We had 3 formal nights on our recent 12 night b2b cruises on the Jewel. Our itinerary was the Baltics/Scandinavia and a Transatlantic so I can't help you with shore excursions or shopping. If you haven't already done it please check out the ports of call threads............there's lots of great information on those threads.

 

We loved the Jewel and her crew. Hope you have as great a time as we did. :)

It's our second time cruising. We went on Explorer of the Seas in 2004 and just loved it.

I can't wait for our upcoming cruise that's coming up in a week.. thinking about ziplining in Costa Rica, but we'll see - am not really a thrill seeker, but I've heard it's fun. lol.
