meyer4two Posted November 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2004 I'm going on the Infinity to Hawaii on March 27th, 05. I was told we could sign up for shore excursions anytime after Oct. 1st, but everytime I try to do it, it says 'no shore excursions available at this time'. Am I too early or are they all gone at this point. Boy, I sure hope not. Anyone know anything, please let me know. Thanks
PoohUnderstands Posted November 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2004 My first Celebrity cruise is 04/05. But on the other 4 cruise lines I have been on, 60 days out is usually the earliest you can book tours for your specific cruise. I have checked with my TA and she says that is the "usual" timing for online booking of tours. So I would begin at 65 days and check each day. SusieV Posted November 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2004 We booked ours for a March 11 cruise last month!
Rare uktog Posted November 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2004 I queried with Captains Club last week and the response was The shore excursion should be available by the first of the year. This is for our trip starting 1st April on Summit I assume she means early January if I understand the phrases right - transatlantic interpreters required.................. CINDYSUE Posted November 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2004 I always booked as soon as possible. I know people that have waited to book when they board and the popular excursions are sold out. I check the internet several times before I go. Last year, I booked Hawaii excursions about three months before the trip. When we got aboard, our tickets were waiting for us in the cabin. It worked out great!
meyer4two Posted November 6, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted November 6, 2004 thank you all for your replys. I agree you 'don't' wait until you board the ship, many are sold out. Two of our excursions on the Summit last yr. were cancelled and on board we couldn't get any of the excursions we wanted, so we had to find our own off the ship. I'll start trying sometime in Jan. and see when I can finally book some of them. Thanks, Meyer
