We are here!!! ANd it is just wonderful. What others have said about the incredible beauty is so true.

The flight on ATN was also everything good that had been said about it. Such service!!! Great food. Free drinks!!!

Our precruise hotel was excellent. We spent one whole day lazing on the beach there.

It's very summery - warm and humid. Randy - - just like FL summer!!

The color of the water here is beyond explanation. It's crystal clear. We went on the motu picnic as planned today, and it was a great excursion.

Tomorrow is a sea day as we transit to Rangiroa, the next day is at that island, then another sea day to get us to Raiatea.

More later. Just wanted you to know Nancy and I are having a truly wonderful time.

Dan! We are BOOKED, as of this morning! So we can officially join the roll call when we get home.

 

We did get a flower market from le Marche. It's lovely, and very reasonably priced.

 

We stayed at the Intercontinental Papeete, booked through Princess. It is definitely worth the money. It's outstanding!

 

Thanks for the wish for a good cruise. We are loving it.

How was the lagoon at the Intercontinental? Have they cleaned it up so you can snorkel in it now? Heard it had been murky and no fish. Did you have a panaromic room?

Mary Lou we will be getting on the ship the day you get off. Please leave the nice weather as we don't want the rain. We will be staying at the same hotel you did for 3 nights precrouse. We have two otw bunglows. Did you eat any meals there. Are they high priced. What did the taxie cost from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the ship. Seeing you booked with princes you not have to pay or did you. We will be two familys of a total of 5. Check out the ph on floor 7 room 7004 as that is the room we have and the other two people have room 7006. We will be all wareing white t-shirts with a pic of the ship on the front. This trip is in memory of my daughter who passed away 6 month ago. She wanted to do this crouse her next one as we have been on 6 before that. Hope you have a safe trip and maybe see you when you get off.

The weather is still just lovely, but HOT. Not complaining though.

 

The lagoon at the IC had very few fish in it. Not too cloudy, but not sure I would have wanted to get in it.

 

The room at the IC was gorgeous. The foof was excellent but quite expensive.

We had booked the hotel w/ Princess so the transfers were included. Will watch for you on boarding day!

 

FP is the most beautiful placce I have ever seen. Rangiroa defies discription. Maybe will tell more about it when I'm on my home computer!

Jumping in here to answer your question. Princess has Coke products as do all the other cruise lines. I would love to see someone do Pepsi, but until then I have to bring my own.
