Oh, that will confuse the other passengers that rely on your door decorations to find their way around! I like that.:D

I'll be on the 12/6 sailing of the Eurodam, and wonder if the holiday decorations will be up then?

There is a lady at the local flea market that makes a new wreath for each cruise for approximately $15-20.00. The hangers cost about $2.00 at a party store.

 

We generaly give the wreath and the hanger to one of the ladies in the Neptune Lounge (specific to HAL ships) or the Guest Relations Manager or one of the crew that stands out for us.

 

We also carry a suitcase full of slippers and gifts that we give out to the crew during the cruise. We do not wait until the last night to give things out.

 

We have a lot of fun on our cruises..

They were going up as we boarded the Westerdam last Dec 2, so I would think so.

HAL has a contracted crew come on board and they decorate the whole ship in one day...They have it down to a science.

 

My guess would be a 50 - 50 chance of the Christmas decorations being up on your cruise.

 

Generaly all of the ships are decorated by the 15th unless they are on long cruises.

 

We leave Dec 6th on the Statendam for 14 days so we stand a good chance of the shi being decorated.
