Tweedy Posted February 20, 2009 #51 Share Posted February 20, 2009 I love my crocs and have 3 pairs. Will be purchasing another pair this summer. I also like the old navy ones but only use those around the house since they have next to no support.
Princessmich Posted February 20, 2009 #52 Share Posted February 20, 2009 Think Pink..........of course your first cruise!:p Hope you have a great time! Michelle
5waldos Posted February 20, 2009 #53 Share Posted February 20, 2009 I like the Sperry brand. Sperry (topsiders) are made for boaters and have especially good non-skid and non-marking features. They are good quality and their flip flops should run in the $55-$75 price range depending on style. Jeri Are we talking US dollars and rubber flip flops? Good heavens! shopping*mommy Posted February 20, 2009 #54 Share Posted February 20, 2009 I agree......Havianas are the best! They are so comfortable! I've got about 14 pairs myself! :D
Caribbean Sunsets Posted February 21, 2009 #55 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I love the LL Bean Isle flip flops. Great support, fun colors and patterns. Cost is $20.
Happy ks Posted February 21, 2009 #56 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I love my Rainbow flip flops. Great support and they last for years. My daughter got me started on them, they are very popular in CA. http://www.rainbowsandals.com/
susiefay Posted February 21, 2009 #57 Share Posted February 21, 2009 So to be redundant, fit flops are now my absolute favorite. Used to wear Reefs, which I love, but the fit flops are soooooo comfortable, and I can actually walk in them without my arch hurting after awhile:D
lindaann Posted February 21, 2009 #58 Share Posted February 21, 2009 I have to put my vote in for fit flops (http://thefitflop.com) They are very comfortable and actually give your calves a workout and who doesn't need that. I have even bought a pair of their indoor/outdoor bootyslippers, I believe they are called Billows which in a northern climate are a /, and like the fit flops are very very comportable. CruisingCaity16 Posted February 24, 2009 #59 Share Posted February 24, 2009 Old Navy. Their foam ones match anything and their dressy ones are always cute!
Houndmom Posted February 24, 2009 #60 Share Posted February 24, 2009 My faves are from Land's End. They have a great tread on the bottom that doesn't slip on wet surfaces. Unfortunately, they aren't in the catalog anymore! I wish I'd ordered more colors. :(
twoguysinottawa Posted February 25, 2009 #61 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Before every cruise I buy a few pairs of flipflops at Old Navy or Gap; they're handy for the pool, the spa, the sauna, the balcony--. Old Navy = $5 so I picked up 2 pair.
MamaParrotHead Posted February 25, 2009 #62 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I LOVE my Reef flip flops. Bought them on ebay bc they were a neutral color and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them. Going to have to replace them soon.:(
TexasR&H Posted February 26, 2009 #63 Share Posted February 26, 2009 I bought a bunch of them in lots of different colors online at OldNavy.com when they were on sale. They're very comfortable. I also watch the sales at Payless.com. The Old Navy ones are great. Wouldn't recommend walking all day in them (no arch support), but they're cute, come in tons of colors, take up very little packing room, and can be worn for bedroom slippers, poolside, and just about anywhere in between. pacarolinagirl Posted February 27, 2009 #64 Share Posted February 27, 2009 I absolutely LOVE my Tommy Hilfiger ones. I went back & bought another pair a couple of weeks later. I always wore "slides" because I couldn't stand the "thong" between my toes but I decided to give flip flops another try. When I tried them on they felt good. I live in them once the weather turns nice here. I wear them around the house all the time. :)
gemz Posted March 1, 2009 #65 Share Posted March 1, 2009 Havaianas! Don't know if you can get them outside of Australia though? +1 for Havaianas. These are so comfortable and aren't cheap foam. They last a long time too! I've had mine since 2006 and they're still going strong.

Armchairtravelwoman Posted March 17, 2009 #73 Share Posted March 17, 2009 When I first read this thread it sent me on a search for new flip flops that have a bit of support and non-slip soles. I ended up with these Earth Cabo 'sandals'. They have a negative heel and an extra strap and they were totally comfy. I wore them right out of the box for a two week vacation in Mexico. Expensive on Zappo's, not so much on ebay.
