  1. Most nights there was some dancing in the Piazza with the house band. For late night, they did use the dome on deck 17.
  2. Dan used to be a CD with Celebrity and then changed to Princess after Covid. I have followed him since 2019 when he was our CD on the Equinox. It isn’t a fake account.
  3. Im sorry but I don’t know the answer to that. We were in a Cove balcony and there was only one wall belonging to the closet that wasn’t magnetic. Everything else was. You may have to find another location to hang your cable from.
  4. yes, the walls will work with magnets.
  5. I'm glad to read that someone had a good experience here. We tried it once and would not go back. We were seated then had to ask for menus as we watched others seated after us receive menus. We ordered our drinks, never came and had to ask for them and then they didn't even bring the correct drinks. Our food did not arrive at the same time. I had to ask for my main meal to be brought to me as I sat and watched my mom eat hers. The excuse they gave to me was that it is all prepared at different stations. Well, as I'm watching my mom eat her hot dog and I just ordered the nachos (which did not look like the picture above), I just had trouble with their excuse since mine didn't need cooking. Maybe they were just having a bad day in the diner but we never went back on our two week trip.
  6. we were in 6438, under the Catch by Rudi. I think it was the kitchen area as we could hear rolling carts around 10:30 but that was it. It was a quiet room.
  7. There was no signage stating 18+ only when we were on October 19-November 2. While I enjoy kids, it would be nice if there was a pool area that was adult only. Kids tend to have a very high pitch when having fun and it seems twice as loud when using the Sea View pool whether you are outside at the front or inside the Dome.
  8. We just we were recently in Roatan and did a shore excursion. Our guide was asked about safety. He said because the island relies on tourism, it is fairly safe. However, if you were to take the ferry over to the mainland, you would experience the not-so-nice Roatan.
  9. We picked up our medallions at PE and there was no waiting in line. The process from arriving to boarding took approx 30 min. We walked right up to the counter, got our medallions and it was easy peasy then walked right on board. We arrived about 10:30 and were onboard by 11am. This was on Oct 19.
  10. We just got home Saturday night after spending two weeks in a Cove just aft of the Lotus Spa. We never heard any noise from deck 7. While I loved the location and the closeness of the waterline, I don’t share the same feeling as the OP about the cabin. Maybe it is because our beds were separated but there just wasn’t space in the cabin. Our friends were in an ocean view on deck 5, and their room felt so spacious. Maybe it also had something to do with the layout. Our beds were close to the bathroom while our friends cabin had the opposite layout (close to the window). The one thing that I haven't seen noted in any reviews is the tiny elevation surrounding the Piazza area. There is a dark grey tile surrounding the Piazza and the number of passengers we saw almost stumble and/or fall was far too many. The second week was much worse than the first week. Even as we were waiting to get off the ship Saturday morning, someone fell as they didn’t notice the slight elevation. Poor design IMO and something that should be reviewed for future designs. I’m still on the fence whether I would sail this class again.
  11. We choose to pick ours up at the port. That way, I’m not worrying the medallions will arrive in time since we usually head out a few days before we sail nor do I have to worry about losing it somewhere along the travels. It is easy peasy picking it up at the terminal.
  12. Thanks all. We chose to pick up our medallions at the port. I took a screen shot of my pass and will have the printed documents showing cabin # etc with me. 🙂
  13. Question - I have received my boarding pass on the app. However, I can't seem to find my travel partners (Mom). She doesn't use the app and all documents are completed through my ID. How do I get her boarding pass? Do we even need both boarding passes if I have the printed travel documents? When we sailed on Celebrity in May, both our boarding passes where under my ID. You would think Princess would do the same. Any insight from the knowledgeable out there would be greatly appreciated.
  14. I certainly hope that’s not the case. I don’t drink alcohol and always get those swapped out. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
  15. I am not a frequent uber user so I’m pretty green at this. There will be four adults with four pieces of luggage plus carry-ons. What size of uber vehicle would you recommend we order to get from the hotel to the port in Fort Lauderdale?
  16. I’m sorry you are having such problems. I don’t use the AC app and go through my desktop when booking seats and haven’t run into this problem on the desktop. Very strange.
  17. We usually fly Air Canada through easy air. Unless you are willing to pay for choosing your seats, you are going to have to wait for that 24 hour window before your flight to choose your seats. You have to log into the Air Canada website with your flight confirmation number to book seats.
  18. I thought I’d reach out to Jiffy Jeff for our needs in October. There are only two of us and I was quoted $197 from Miami Airport to a hotel on las Olas in Ft Lauderdale. Uber looks like it is our best bet. Train would be ideal but my Mom is 83 and would be too much with luggage.
  19. Actually, it was in Oct 2022, not too long ago. We’ve never had problems when we’ve flown in the day before. Either they’ve ordered a cab for us or waited Curbside for hotel shuttle. Maybe it was just a one off but just that once didn’t leave a good feeling, ya know.
  20. We did not have a good experience the last time we used transfer from LAX. We arrived about 11:30 and passengers with transfers were already waiting in our terminal. They waited until 1 passenger who wasn’t arriving until 2:30 to call the bus. If I recall correctly, we didn’t load the bus until 3pm and everyone was pushy to get on. There were other terminals they picked up from as we left LAX. We were the last group of passengers on the ship. The muster check in stations were closed so we received the nasty “you didn’t show up for muster” letter which irked me since it was out of our control. Never again will I do transfer from the airport day of. I did not enjoy that day at all. Cruise turned out good though.
  21. Here is you go.
  22. I don't even think she'll miss it if she doesn't know it's an option. This is a freebie cruise for her since Mom and I are paying for it. We are ok with the main dining room for our dinner meals. 🙂 Appreciate your input though.
  23. What you have pointed out above is how I don't want her to feel on her very first cruise so I may just scratch my idea.
  24. Thank you. My sister has so many food restrictions I'm now thinking we do this restaurant when she isn't with us. It may just be too much for a set menu.
