Port Everglades - drop baggage

We are taking a HAL cruise out of Port Everglades. Can we drop our baggage at the ship and then go park - or do we have to accompany our luggage all the way thru?

???????? I don't think it's any different at PE than anywhere else. Drive up with your luggage, which of course has the proper luggage tags affixed, do so only after debark is over, give your luggage to the porters who are there to take incoming luggage, tip, then go park.

That's what we did. No problem.

Thanks Howard and Luke. That similar to what we did at Canaveral; but that was before 9/11. Just wanted to make sure there weren't new security measures involved.
