NFL on NCL

Gf and I are big NFL fans, her Giants, me Jets. Wondering if there is a sports type bar on the Gem that will show the games on Sunday afternoon in Dec. Thanks in advance for your replies! Lets go Jets, Lets go Giants!

Unless your game is on ESPN, I think you are out of luck. The cruiseline makes an exception for the playoff games and Superbowl. At least that was the story last year when we watched the Patriots beat the Chargers in the AFC final and the Giants beat Green Bay in the NFC (while sailing from Antigua). Sorry New York, GO PATS!

I'm so glad to read the will have playoff games! DH will be excited, as we will be setting sail in the middle of the playoffs. I was hoping there would be a bar somewhere showing it.

we had both CBS & ESPN as long as the signal was there or you got the NCL logo. The sportsbar was packed & the boo's were deafening.....

For the past 2 years we were unable to watch much of the playoff's (post season) on the Majesty because the signal became too weak.

Oh no! Does the signal come from shore or satelite? We depart on Sunday at 5pm, so I was thinking we should be good for games, but if its satelite, then our distance from shore won't really matter :(

I'm not the cable guy! lol.. just kidding. I don't know how it's transmitted to the ship. Hopefully someone else will have an answer for you. I do know, that when we were just leaving, the reception was clear. As we sailed farther out, it became weaker and weaker. This was on the Majesty which is an older ship.

well we are hoping to see some game next Sunday as we don't leave out of New Orleans until 5pm. Pat will be really pissed, but he will get over it, I am sure.
