Formal nights - Dress down after dinner??

After having dinner and a show, do some of you change into your smart casual clothes and venture back on deck / public areas?? Or just stay in the formal attire until ready for bed??

I stay dressed up til time for bed. I don't get to dress up much so when I do dress up I want to stay like that til bed time.

Usually there is a mix of both on the ship: some who change into smart casual to be more comfortable and some to went through the effort of dressing up and want to get the most out of it. Seems everyone has fun regardless which group they fall into.

We also like to stay dressed up. Doesn't matter if we're just walking on the deck or going to the disco.

I have always changed to smart casual, but this time we stayed formal for the night!! It was wonderful, and I will always do it from now on!! Regretably, I wasn't as fortunate as you after the change, Largin!! :eek: ;) :p

We have done both depending on our plans, hate walking on deck in those shoes and smoke in casino so will change, if going to shows etc will stayed dressed in formal.

We are just off the Diamond. We always stay formal but several change. Of course there are always those that don't have to change. Second formal night we going into the Captain's Circle Party and there was a older couple going in ahead of us - she was dress to the "nines" and he had on a polo shirt. Go figure.

It's all about comfort for us. We usually change, out of the tux, etc. then go to a show in comfort. I don't dress up often, I like to, but I also can't wait to get out of the monkey suit and relax.:D

And then after dinner I change into a comfortable pair of black briefs which i wear with nothing else except the bow-tie and gyrate my hips at the disco.

 

It's a sure conversation starter.

DH agrees with the ``all about comfort'' part and knows he gets a lot more comforting from DW later when we both stay dressed in our formal duds until it's time to turn in for the night. :D

 

Won't ``change'' out of our routine for love nor less monkeying around. :)
