Raiders of the Lost Mayan Cave... then what?

My girlfriend and I have never been to Belize. We have signed up for the Raiders of the Lost Mayan Cave excursion. This runs from till 2:30pm and our ship does not leave until 5pm. With a little over 2 hours to explore, what would you recommend we see? Thanks in advance!

My mom and I are cruising in February and are interested in the "Raiders" excursion but haven't seen many reviews. Have you heard much about it? Would you post a review after you get back?

I just got back from Belize, I posted a few weeks ago asking for reviews and never got any so I didnt book. Still curious to hear.

Im pretty sure we will be going on this excursion also. When are you cruising? We will be on the spirit for the jan 4th departure. I think that the 2 hours that are supposed to be left over would be great just to see the city, I bet its a pretty neat place, and 2 hours isnt really a whole lot of time to get into anything big. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes!:)

There's a little shopping mall at the pier, and right behind it a small straw market. Not much else to do in the 2 hours you have left, unfortunately - and it's quite a long tender ride back - about 20 minutes when I went!
