Free drinks while you gamble?

Can anyone tell me if you receive free drinks while you gamble in the casino on the Miricle? We sailed on NCL in May and had a wonderful time in the casino with free drinks and OBC for the time and money we spent in the casino.

Also does anyone know if they have the roulette machine?

Thanks

They have roulette. If you are spending big, ask for a drink. It is not like Vegas, where they walk around giving out drinks for free.

Make sure the casino host on the ship you are sailing knows you are coming - introduce yourself to the casino host when you arrive. Most times we sail we have credit waiting for us based on our gambling expense from our last cruise. We ususally get free drinks. Gambling is a big part of our cruising and one of the reasons we go.

I haved sailed on both Carnival and RCL and like to gamble on the dice table, I can tell you now that Carnival dont look after you that well in the casino.

Carnival give you

A odd free drink

10% of your losses back on your next cruise in cash

RCL give you

A CasinoRoyal VIP card which you use when you want a drink from the casino bar or waiter which is complimentary.

40% of your potential losses back on you next cruise in cash

And on my next cruise the casino have upgraded my Balcony room to a suite FOC

I have also had the free wine sent to the dinning room (I have never had this from RCL, but do think a upgrade and free bar is better)

I also had a dealer from my part of the world on Carnival tell me how much I lost on my last cruise (If I needed reminded) I dont think he should have access to this info

I think they all have access to that information. Whether or not they should speak openly about it is, I think, a matter best left to discretion. In 2007 I asked Carnival for a wins/losses statement for my 3 cruises during 2006 (Glory-Legend-Legend) because on both the Glory & the April Legend cruise I won $2100 and $7800 respectively, & received the tax form W2-G...and I desperately needed an offset....which would be the 2nd Legend cruise, lol. They were very accommodating!

I did not know that Carnival gives back 10% of your losses in the casino on your next cruise. How do we get this? DH loves the casino more than it loves him and lost some on the last cruise. (I lost some too but only play slots). Does it have to be on the same ship? Do we go to the Casino host to get the win/loss statement and then take that to the purser's desk for the 10% credit? Or am I misunderstanding this?
