We ate there several times in April/May. All entrees were excellent, as was the service. Creme Brulee great dessert choice.

how is the atmosphere in the steak house being a corner of the buffet. is it still private - how many people do u think can dine at 1 time there.

thanking u inadvance

I really enjoy the shrimp cocktail. 4 very large prawns are a meal for some. The chowder in the bread bowl or just a regular bowl is good. I have never had a bad Filet. If you are a big eater get both the 8 and 10 oz. If you are a fish eater, some nights they have salmon that is different than in the dr's. It is quite good.

The buffet is far away and you do not even think about it. Think about your table mates and the great food, what buffet!! You are on vacation enjoy yourself.

Any thoughts on the Sterling Steakhouse? Any particular items you enjoyed?

I had the Ribeye, it was quite good. My companion had the Filet... another excellent choice. The prawns were yummy as an appetizer. The creme brulee was very good too.

It isn't intimate in the way that a separate room would be, but it is walled off from the rest of the buffet and we were quite comfortable. And, as a bonus, we had a window seat!

As an aside, they bring out a big cart with all the steaks displayed. Makes the choice easier...
