Golf choices in Acapulco

Hi all CC'ers

 

DW and I have a group cruise booked at the end of March on the Spirit. As the group coordinator the guys are looking to me for a golf excursion. Anyone have experiance with the golf courses in Acapulco? As we are still over 3 months out golf isn't even shown on the Carnival site yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Princess hotel I think has beautiful grounds for golf, at least they used to, hotel is near the airport, contact them ?and have fun!

Go to carnivalgolf.com Click on vessels and look up the Spirit. It will show all the ports where golf is an option.

Princess is nice!! We visited there in February and it was awesome...however we didn't golf. We only stopped there and looked around. Someone else on our cruise (Norweign Star) did the excursion and stated that the golf clubs were poor.

Thanks for the responses. I know there are three golf courses down there, I was just hoping someone had a prefered course. Happy cruising...

Dh has golfed in MR twice and planning a third in April. CCL uses elitegolf.com

 

You sign up with them. They do everything for you, even to bringing your water. DH thinks its great. The golf pro is on the ship with you.

 

It's a great program because you don't have to do anything !:)

 

He played at Mayan Palace Golf Course in Acapulco.

Thanks Pat I used elitegolf on my last group cruise and it was very easy. I'm just having trouble deciding between courses. Mayan Palace looks nice! Happy cruising!!!
