OBC Question

Our next cruise was booked with a Future Cruise Credit so we have an onboard credit coming for that ($100pp), as well as an onboard credit offered by our TA ($25pp). My question is why does it not show in the details on our cruise personalizer? I've questioned our TA (who I trust and is a brick and mortar "cruise specialist") and she says she's asked (more than once) Princess and they say they show the correct amount on our account.

This is fine, but I'm worried that we'll get on board and find out it's not there and have a hassle to get it straighted out. Has this occured for any of you before and what did you do or what was the outcome? What can I do ahead of time to make sure there are no on-board hassles? Or am I worrying about nothing?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Tammy

it will only tell you that it has been applied to booking #_____ when you check your account. TA OBC doesnt' show anywhere. Check the purser's desk upon arrival and make sure it's there; they cant' do anything if it isn't since it isn't from Princess; happened to me last year and never did get the credit from the TA.

I'm definately more concerned about my Princess OBC, which also does not show on my cruise personalizer. It should be $200 and it shows $0.

The best way to know for sure is to contact your TA (or call Princess if booking direct) and have them check for you to make sure your OBC is there. Not much else you can do but double check. Good Luck! :)

Sign into My Princess under the account that the FCC belonged to. (If I use one under my husband's account, nothing shows in my account)

Go to Circle Savings Account, View Details, Account Summary, click on Onboard Credits, if you are in the correct account it will show "applied to booking.........."

Great suggestion - I don't even think of it as two separate accounts so ithadn't occured to me to do that. Well, I found $100 on DH's account. Hmmm ... still missing $100.

Thanks for your replies. From them it seems that I should indeed be seeing the Princess OBCs on "My Princess" and this should be looked into and straightened out before the cruise.

Thanks!

Tammy,

Our OBCs have always just been reflected on my account at "myprincess" but not for others on the same booking. Once onboard it has always been reflected for all parties involved.

I don't know why but Princess' website never has that correctly.

This is the way Princess does this. If you use one FCC for two people, the FCC/obc will only show for that person whose FCC you used. It does, however, show in you account that Princess has access to. When you get onboard, just go to the purser's office and ask for a copy of your cruise account for each of you. The obc will show for each of you. I don't know why Princess does it this way. Would be so much easier and cut down on many phone calls if they would just show it in our online personalizer accounts.
