Dining room on the Conquest

Is the dining room open on the embarkation day for lunch on the Conquest?

 

I HATE HATE HATE buffets.

 

I always start my cruise with a nice, leisurely lunch in the dining room. The best time to relax and say 'ahhhh I'm on vacation'!

I dont remember it being open.

 

There is a oriental wok place on one side and a deli on the other where you can have your food made to order. Someone said Sur mer opens late for lunch on embarkation day, I didnt find it that fast.

 

We did check out the sushi place before dinner the first night, it was open, so there are other options.

 

Im happy with making a salad at the buffet for lunch most days, but I guess not everyone is. I was watching my weight.
