txcarrie Posted April 19, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Hey Everyone, I'm going on the Voyager 5 day cruise to Canada/New England on October 3rd. A friend of mine is going as a 3rd party in our cabin. She is a first time cruiser and I'm trying to compile a list of expenditures she can expect to pay for on the cruise. I just know I'm forgetting some and need your help. Anything I've left out or anything else you might thing would cost any money please help me with the list. It seems like there should be more considering my bill is always HUGE at the end. Cabin fare, Tips, Portifino's, Johnny Rockets, Shore Excursions, Airfare, Taxi from Manhatten to New Jersey(anyone know how much?), alcoholic drinks(I think the card is $6.00 per day per adult..is this right?), Coca Cola drinks(card ??), gift shop items, Spa, bingo(is it always $5 per game?) Wine at dinner, What am I forgetting? Thanks so much for all the help. An alcoholic drink card is no longer available. I don't have the prices but someone will. I think the foo foo drinks range between $5 and $7. Beer $3.00+. Hotel the evening before if applicable (good idea if flying). Insurance This web page will help you with taxi rates. Have fun planning! justcruzin85374 Posted April 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Bingo is $35.00 per session. 5 games played each session. Sometimes they will have special games like: "win a cruise Bingo" those games should be one game only for $15.00. One more possible expense could be the spa, massages, pedicure and so on. FYI...you can always check your sea pass account on your cabin TV to see where you stand in terms of $$$ spent. Have a wonderful cruise Soveriegn 92 E. Caribbean Majesty 95 W. ducklite Posted April 20, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Taxi from Manhattan to NJ--depends on where in Manhattan. Tell me a neighborhood and I can give you an idea. She'll probably be better off witha car service though. Anne

pcur Posted April 20, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 20, 2004 Shore excursions, and on-shore souvenirs. Tips for airport and dockside luggage porters. I usually tip $1 per suitcase. Peggy - RCI since 1973
lmmn Posted April 20, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 20, 2004 It depends so much on what you do...and if you drink and shop much!! We figured our average spending after air/cruise/hotel was about $100 day, which included two excursions for the week.
