How far is this beach from the cruise ship terminal? What is the cab fare?

 

Just heard about it. Sounds quiet and beautiful and we are considering spending the day there in Dec.

About a 25 minute drive. Around $13 for one person, $9 a person in a group. One way.

Markk We Went There In Jan. 03 It Is A Nice Beach With A Bar And A Place To Eat.the Day We Went Thier Were 6 Ships At St.thomas We Were The Only Ones From A Cruise Ship At Secret Harbour.

Wife and I went last Jan to Secret Harbor. It was clean, quiet and beautiful. Nice little bar, great views and small crowd. I'll try to dig up pictures.

Do you pay for a day pass here? Or is there a public beach separate from the hotel area? I looked on their site but didn't see any info about this.

The beach at Secret Harbour is accessible to the public.

Is there a pool there that you could get a day pass to use? We want to find a place that has a beach and a pool to stay at for the day.

Hello Laura,

 

The Secret Harbor Resort has a pool... the signs indicate its for guest use only. It is a short walk up a path & stairs away from the beach. You would need to contact the resort and ask about day passes.

Would like a quiet beach, Secret Harbour sounds great. Few questions please.

Do you enter beach thru hotel. Is there chair rental(info). Food was mentioned, do you eat at hotel? I gather cabs are available for return to ship.

Hello Howard,

 

To access the beach you walk along a cement path that is part of the resort property from the parking area to the beach. You don't have to go through their lobby or anything like that.

 

There are chairs on the beach for hotel guests. A beach attendant walks around and checks; if you aren't a guest they will requests the rental chair fee which is a few dollars.

 

Food/drinks - Blue Moon Cafe is a restaurant on the beach.

 

Cabs are usually located in the turn about in front of the lobby. If not you can have one called for you.

PS- since its a day trip(serenade of the sea) with an eight year old, we are torn between Coki,Sapphire beach,secret harbour. MY VOTE SECRET HARBOUR:cool:
