Wine-O Posted December 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Good question. It would be nice to know you could get cash to pay for your cruise tips should you decide not to put it on your cruise account. I also wonder what the Fees and/or limits are for using this ATM. I'm sure it will not be for free.

I guess I'll have to make alternative arrangements. Most bank ATM's in the States that I've used only charge a couple of bucks or so. On the other hand, probably won't need $$$ on this cruise except for tips as everything is charged on the sea pass account. Does anybody know if you can still get $$$ in the casino using your sea pass account?
NDBoat Posted December 15, 2008 #8 Share Posted December 15, 2008 There's an ATM at the casino too but it wasn't working during most of the inaugral..perhaps they fixed it.

I guess I can see the need for an ATM on a Caribbean cruise as most of the islands take $$$. On a Transatlantic, the only ports you would hit would take Euro, so no need for an ATM, in my opinion, unless you wanted to get some $$$ to pay your tips. You used to be able to go down to the casino cashier, present your sea pass card, and they would give you, in one case, $200 cash. This amount would go on your sea pass account that you paid at the end of the cruise. Can you still do that?
Andy Posted December 15, 2008 #10 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Does anybody know if you can still get $$$ in the casino using your sea pass account? Hi Wine-O Yes you can, but there is a 3% surcharge.
2DesertRats! Posted December 15, 2008 #11 Share Posted December 15, 2008 2 ATMs on board I saw last week. One at Guest Relations and One in the casino opposite the entrance to the main shop. Both appeared to be working fine.
