Host Star Posted December 16, 2008 #26 Share Posted December 16, 2008 I was on the dec. 11 and loved being rocked to sleep at nite.. I really didn't seem to notice much unless I looked out at the horizon or watched the water sloshing around in the pool.. I must have been too numb from all the alcohol.. LOL.. I too was on the Dec 11 sailing and loved all about NOS. I do recall some rocking but slept like a baby. As with you the sleep pattern might have been added by the martini, wine and sambuca that I consumed in the wonderful Portofino's! I did notice a little rocking and one girl moving briskly down the hallway one day with the look of an empending "hurl" ... I think I'm getting my sea legs as it really didn't bother me and I normally have a cabin towards the back. This time in 8377 which is aft. I always wonder if I should try something closer to the bow to see if that might be a rockier ride.

Missus Makkem Posted December 17, 2008 #29 Share Posted December 17, 2008 We were with you on the ship then. We just did the TA on the Navigator again in Nov. and it was fine. really, we thought it was the worst TA for weather and ocean motion we have done. we were also on the spring one when the stabilizer was cut off. caribbeanboy Posted December 17, 2008 #30 Share Posted December 17, 2008 She is going into dry dock at the end of January for 1 week, so I guess they will have the stabilizers repaired then.
