CL-JW Posted December 16, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2008 The large ship model is about 15 inches long mounted on a wood base with a clear acrylic top. The price is $275. It is very nice model made by Maritime Replicas, and looks great on our mantle.

Definitely not more than $15. And yeah, we have most every current Princess ship in our collection, including the old Royal and Regal Princess. :)

One of these days I'm going to purchase one of those big 1:900 scale ships mounted in a case for the mantle :) like from http://scherbakshipmodels.tripod.com/id12.html Those look pretty cool... and well-made. RickEk Posted December 18, 2008 #16 Share Posted December 18, 2008 Well, it's probably too late, but if you post a request to someone on this week's voyage's rollcall, maybe they'll be nice and pick one up for you. Don't know how the logistics would work out... but ya never know!.. :) Nothing ventured... nothing gained.
