Does the Dawn have half price nights in the specialty restaurants? We were on the Sun in March and had a few nights where the dinners were half price at certain times (early, I think -before 6 pm)

We were not offered any discounts but did hear from another passenger that when they booked at Cagney's on the first night, they got the 2 for 1 deal. I would just ask.

There weren't any (at least as far as I noticed) on the Dawn on the 15 November 2008 sailing, which was the first week of the Caribbean season.

I am very surprised that they are not offering the reductions. Guess they are filling up the restaurants.

I just got off the Dawn yesterday morning. They did not offer any promotions on the restaurants.

 

However, a friend gave me a coupon book that did have a 2 for 1 coupon for the specialty restaurants, first night only. I have heard this coupon book was given out to people who registered with the casino right away. We never received the book from the cruise line, but we also didn't go to the casino, so I don't know if that's true or not.

If they have 2-4-1 specials, they will be shown in the daily newsletter, Freestyle Daily that comes out each evening. If you want to get a head start on the Freestyle Daily, copies they typically are available in the atrium area a few hours before they make it to your room at night. The actual location varies by ship, but check out the information literature area neat the excursion desk to start, or ask at reception.

the Sun (last March) had lots of specials (2-4-1), but they were only posted by the reservation counter. I wonder if it is the only ship that did this.

Do some ships offer more specials than others?
