Hilton Riverside to Pier

After reading all of the posts re: traffic, I was wondering how should we get to the NCL Dream? I understand there are 2 cruise ships in port, and the Dream traffic gets held up by the other ships passengers....

 

Is the Hilton Riverside close enough to walk...or should we still "cab it"?

 

Also, when we return to New Orleans, how long should we figure it will take to get back to the airport?

From the Hilton- if you have packed light with one rolling bag- YOU could take the Riverfront street car to Julia St and walk a few blocks to the pier. A cab will take only a few minutes. Allow at least 30 minutes to the airport.
